Application Process

A nontraditional fellowship in abdominal imaging, including abdominal procedures, has been designed for qualified applicants at this Level I Trauma Center.

Applicants should:

  • Be enrolled in an ACGME-accredited residency program
  • Be eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
  • Have reasonable expectations for passing Part 1 examinations of the American Board of Radiology

The fellowship will provide training in all aspects of imaging as applicable to the abdominal imaging, including:

  • Computed tomography (CT)
  • Magnetic resonance (MR)Ultrasound (US)
  • Fluoroscopy
  • Abdominal procedures including biopsies, drainages, and ablation

The fellow will have ample opportunity for rotations through other sections including cardiothoracic, musculoskeletal, neuroradiology, mammography, or vascular interventional radiology. Because this is a nontraditional fellowship, the fellow will be expected to spend no greater than 20% of his/her time functioning as a junior attending.
